Alice (Mia Wasikowska) returns to Wonderland after finding success in the real world as a ship's captain, only to discover that the Mad Hatter (Johnny Depp) is suffering from severe depression.  Eager to help her friend, she steals a time-travel device called the Chronosphere and journeys into the past in order to save the Hatter's family.  Elsewhere, the deposed Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter) also attempts to go back in time and heal old wounds.
 
Anne Hathaway, Alan Rickman, Sacha Baron Cohen, and Michael Sheen co-star. James Bobin (The Muppets) directed this time around, taking over from Tim Burton (who helmed 2010's Alice in Wonderland).
7.15pm         Let's Swing The Proms Big Band
A first half of big band music featuring some of finest vocal and musical talent in
Guernsey that played to a packed auditorium at St James' in 2015.  Proms on the Pier will
mark Let's Swing Big Band's first outdoor performance on the Alidome Stage on Albert Pier.
Comprising the very best local musicians and singers, Guernsey can look forward to
enjoying an outdoor evening concert that is packed with popular compositions such as
"The Heat Is On", "That Old Devil Called Love", "Georgia On My Mind", "Human" and 
"Uptown Funk" to name but a few.

This year's Last Night of the Proms, performed by the BBC Symphony Orchestra under the renowned expert baton skills
of Sakari Oramo will weave together many of the season's musical strands in to the exuberant celebration that is the
